HOLIDAY SPECIALS:
Cranberry Brie Bites: A Festive Holiday Appetizer
Ingredients:
1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
1 wheel of Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
1/4 cup chopped pecans
Fresh rosemary for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet and cut it into small squares (about 2 inches).
Place each puff pastry square in the cups of a mini muffin tin, gently pressing them down to create a small pastry cup.
Add a small cube of Brie cheese to each puff pastry cup.
Spoon a teaspoon of whole berry cranberry sauce over the Brie in each cup.
Top each bite with a sprinkle of chopped pecans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the Brie is melted.
Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh rosemary for a festive touch.
These Cranberry Brie Bites are not only easy to make but also a delightful combination of sweet and savory—a perfect addition to your holiday party menu. Enjoy!
